About this project
B.R. Howard was contracted by Hartmann Fine Art Conservation Services Inc. to collaborate on the removal of 2 Thomas Benson murals and a large decorative relief map located inside the Robert Moses Niagara Hydroelectric Power Station in upstate NY on the US-Canadian border.
What we did
Conservation treatment efforts are currently underway on the Benson murals and relief map, which needed to be removed as building renovations are taking place. The murals and map will be packed, transported, and reinstalled in a new location after the conservation is complete.
